Headsticks
Where folk and punk collide to provide a passion infused commentary that is as raw and honest as it comes….. Headsticks, making the trip over from Stoke, have won acclaim the country over for their passionate firebrand live performances. If you’ve not seen them live, you must. This is what Fatea records review said of their second studio album: “Headsticks have delivered an album that reminds us of the need to stand up and be counted, to do more than wear the t-shirt. Most importantly they’ve done it in a way that makes you want to listen, makes you want to come back to “Muster”.”
Ken Bonsall (Ferocious Dog)
Front man of Ferocious Dog, Ken will do us a solo set. Here’s what John Robb, of Louder than War, said of the bands Glastonbury show this summer: “Ferocious Dog are the new noise on the block – and are surprising everyone with their rapid ascent. There is no way they’re following any hipster templates – fronted by a big burly man with a mohican who sings impassioned political songs of broken Britain whilst his band seethes like a punky Levellers – they are the music business’s worst nightmare – a great band who are going to make it without anyone’s permission”.
