Finally starting to move away from the car in the ditch which was my choice to enroll on the creative writing course .
Already seeing it as a chance to change the way I approach things.
The image above was the way I thought things going pre-course. Now I can see that my involvement in what basically three distinct fields i.e. Art (and art research), Writing and Songwriting really needs separating out and choices being made about what I concentrate on now I have some time to do so.
The image below is how that then can be translated into how presented online and what exactly I am hopefully going to ‘make’ in the next six months.
This put simply is:
1. Shaun Belcher .com Lady Bay Painting show – new works May 16th/17th
2. The Dark Horses – website and publication – poems and short stories possible – transmedia angle.
3. Goldfactory – revamped as a ‘art research’ portal….containing my scribing, cartoons and theoretical work alongside the original GF archive. Maybe leading to new GF events..who knows.
4. The Squirrel – my writing blog…may lead to wider journal/press activity but just my blog on writing to start with.
5. Trailerstar – a stand alone songwriting/trailerstar music website to develop barns and Stars and Lost weekend and other ideas..even Jazz Diva ideas.
Will not do all of this ..just targets..aim high ..fall low 🙂
